Gift ideas for your grandparents
Their village on the wall, and stories for the grandchildren
Your grandparents have everything they need, and the ornaments are already piling up on the sideboard. What really moves them are the places of their lives: the village where they were born, the town of the family home, the city where they met. Hung in their home, a poster of that place becomes the starting point for the stories they'll tell the grandchildren.

Why it works
A reason to tell stories
“What was it like back then?”: in front of the poster, the question comes naturally, and the memories follow.
One place, three generations
Their village is a little bit their children's and grandchildren's too: a gift that brings the whole family together.
Delivered straight to their door
No need to make the trip: enter their address at checkout, and the poster is printed as close to them as possible and arrives in rigid packaging.
Questions worth asking them
Where were they born?
The village of their childhood is often the most touching choice. If you don't know it, a parent or an old album will point the way.
Where did they meet?
A dance, a market, a holiday harbour: bring it up at the next family meal, and the story will follow.
Where did they spend their holidays?
The little harbour or market town they went back to every summer often holds their fondest memories.
