Birthday gift idea

A birthday gift that's truly them

Candles, cake… and another forgettable present? Not this time. Give a poster of the place that tells their story: the city they grew up in, the one where you met, the country they backpacked across. The kind of gift that proves you know them.

First apartment, travel-filled thirties or a well-earned retirement: a place that matters speaks to everyone.

Great as a group gift

Chipping in with friends or colleagues? Go for Large (50x70 cm) or Extra Large (70x100 cm) for a real wow when they unwrap it.

Finding the place that fits them

Which birthday is it?

At 18 or 20, think of the city they're moving to for their studies. At 40 or 60, the trip that defined their decade or the one they keep putting off.

Their defining trip

First backpacking trip, first time abroad, the trip for their 30th: there's always one place they bring up the moment holidays are mentioned.

Celebrating away?

If the birthday is being celebrated somewhere else, give a poster of that destination: it keeps the party going once they're home.

Frequently asked questions

Their town, their grandparents' town or a country they're learning about at school. Small (15x20 cm) or Medium (30x40 cm) fits easily in a bedroom.

Yes: for a 50th, for example, three posters of the cities that shaped their life make a small retrospective. Three Medium prints in a row work well.
